Heres a short but cool tip i found on the inter webs, If you don't believe you can do it through practice and study, your reality will reflect that and you'll spend all your time looking for some magic key to drawing ability, outside yourself.
I used to think that there was some sort of secret formula and i didn't buy it when people said just practice, almost 1 years later(so much wasted time AHHH!)i figured it all out, you have to study the world around you and just practice hard and try to improve. Then i read this awesome piece of awesomeness from probably the awesomest comic book artist out there right now :icongregcapullo:(check him out or ill kill you) and he said There aren't any shortcuts. You've got to dig in -- study and draw the world around you. This is the only way to hone your skill and develop a style that is your own. A lot of kids learn to draw by copying their favorite comic artist. We've all done that, but as a means to an end, it's a huge mistake. I can spot those guys (who learned that way) a mile away. Their art is filled with gaffes. From anatomy to perspective and everything in between -- problems abound. Don't do it! I don't care which artists "made it" following that path, don't do it. Strive for craftsmanship. It'll carry you further; especially outside the comic biz.
Well thats it for now, hope i helped someone out there.Feel free to note me, don't worry i don't bit(from a far
